PCR workshop in New Delhi, India

Dear Friends,

We, at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, a premier

medical institution of India, are organising an International Symposium on

Leishmaniasis and National Conference of Laboratory Medicine from February

21-24, 2002.

There will also be a pre-Conference hands-on workshop (from

February 16-20, 2002) in which Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) technique for

AIDS associated opportunstic infectionss- TB, CMV, Toxoplasma and Leishmania

will carried out by the participants themselves.

In the Conference beside other attractions - AIDS epidemiology and current

concepts in Anti-retroviral therapy for HIV and opportunistic infections

will be covred.

In the international Symposium on Leishmaniasis will cover beside other

issues the burning issue of spread of HIV through unsterile injections given

for kala-azar treatment.

The registration fee for Conference with Symposium is

Indian Rs. 1500 or US $ 150

For hands-on workshop the fee is

Indian Rs. 10500 or US 1000 only
