Tammy,I think 's advice is good: Andy Cutler's website and the Group website on chelation. . .I'm on the run, deadlines and stuff, and perhaps we could discuss the role of " conjugation " and its role in detoxification another time, another topic.

Sometimes a lumbering, cautious approach is best. Keep us posted on your progress.Best, Greg

You could look into NCD Zeolite for metal detox. It's structure is that like a magnetic screen. It picks up the metals and delivers them out of the body in urine without the worry of them getting re-metabolized. NCD Zeolite is electrically charged and so are the metals, so it picks them up like a magnet. They say that it goes after heavy metals first and the major minerals like Ca and Mg are not picked up.

Warning; if you have adrenal disease in which you have low electrolytes, this product can adversely affect you if you take a large dose. Although they say the amount of electrolyte picked up is very small if at all, if you are very low in electrolyte already, and take a large upper dose of NCD, it can take out enough electrolyte to cause you a lot of discomfort. My DD went into an 's- like crisis.

There are probably many good things about NCD zeolite for those without adrenal disease.

Malic acid is an effective, safe chelator and has been shown to remove aluminum

from the brain. It's a very sour powder extracted from apples (I mix mine with

stevia to make it more palatable). http://www.organicfoodee.com/vms/malicacid/

Taking high quality mineral and vitamin supplements will naturally chelate heavy

metals over time (zinc, selenium, vita C, magnesium, folate, B12, etc), as will

eating healthy by adding lots of garlic, onions, cruciferous veggies to the

diet. http://www.natural-cure-remedy.com/heavy-metal-detox.html

It's also important to keep the liver functioning well to help metabolize

toxins. Look up Hulda on curezone.com for more information on liver /

gallbladder / parasite cleanses.
