In the News; EPA to examine Perchlorate

" Epa is going to examine establishing 'safe' levels of perchlorate (a chemical

used in rocket fuel)in drinking water. This is a chemical known to cause Thyroid

damage, especially in children and pregnant women, and has been confirmed to be

in over 150 samples tested. "

Don't waste your energy, standing up to cheer. They then cut to footage of an

EPA representative, speaking to congress; She was making it clear that they are

going to do a thurough cost/benefit analysis, weighing the costs of removing

perchlorate from the water supplies vs. the 'costs' of,....well,..not.

Said the EPA will take at least 2 years to come up with reccomendations.OH,

well,.. our Government at work.!
