Guest guest
I got H Pylori a few years ago. I could not eliminate it with iodine and my doctor put me on Mastic Gum and Oregano Oil. That cleared it up. Steph Re: Lugol's and H. Pylori Can we use Lugol's to kill the pathogenic stomach bacteria H. Pylori I have been on 50 mg then 37,5 mg of iodine for past 3 years. Mostly 50mg and supplements. Still I am fighting Hpyor again for second time in 2 yearsi. I am taking H-PLR from Apex Energetics 3 an hour before any protein and 3 more at bedtime. It worked with 2 bottles worth 2 years ago but the low amount of nausea and low apetite returned. But blood tests showing my white blood cells are fighting bacteria and low protein say it is back again. Possibly you can find golden seal, oregano oil, barberry, oregon grape, berberis aristrata, coplis chinenese and yerba marisa extracts. The bottle doesn't mention how much of each but combined total is 3 capsules twice a day. 2-5 bottles of 90 capsules works for my doctor. Guest guest
Right, Iodine will NOT eliminate it or cure it, but might help a bit to combat it. H Pylori is a bugger to get rid of. It changes your stomach acidity so it can live there. From past reading I remember that this bacteria uses Iron to replicate. (You can doublecheck that in an online search.) Some doctors would see Iron deficiency on lab work in an H Pylori patient and treat it by advising more iron in supplements. My thinking is- the iron is low BECAUSE the bacteria is using it and depleting it.
Guest guest
Iodine might indeed help the situation. The stomach uses iodine directly from ingested sources. So people who are only taking Iodoral are not giving the stomach something it will use if given the chance. I have been taking a few Lugol's drops for my stomach, in addition to my Iodoral, for this reason. This is just my own practice, it's not part of the protocol (the required part), but I think my reasoning is sound. -- >Right, Iodine will NOT eliminate it or cure it, but might help a bit to >combat it.
