Guest guest
Hi , can you please explain to me what you mean by: "sodium pottasium levels and relationship to thyroid", I know Gerson uses this ratio as well, for overal health, but didn't know about it's relationship to thryoid. thanks! Guest guest
Hi , The adrenal group indicates that low sodium and pottasium can affect adrenals and if adrenals are not good then will affect optimizing on NTH. > > Hi , can you please explain to me what you mean by: " sodium pottasium > levels and relationship to thyroid " , I know Gerson uses this ratio as well, for > overal health, but didn't know about it's relationship to thryoid. thanks! > Konstantine > > > > > ________________________________ > From: hardrockshoney <sandralhowie@...> > iodine > Sent: Thu, October 14, 2010 7:41:44 AM > Subject: want to start iodoral > > Â > I have mostly been on thyroidless and have come a long way since last February > but know I have that far to go again and want to start iodoral that I recently > bought after it has been suggested a number of times by Gracia Bee on > thyroidless group. > I'm 46,thyroidless papillary cancer in 1994 spread to 5 lymph removed also. Guest guest
I just need to add that my HC has been every 2 hours (stress dosed a a couple of months back and couldn't get it back down or spread out probably due the tooth infections) and I am working on spreading it out but couldn't until I got my NTH back down to to 4.5 grains from a way too high 6.5 grains. It's been a week now on 4.5 grains and so I will see how that goes. I didn't know if I should wait until I'm on sure I'm on the right level of thyroid before trying to add iodine into the mix. That is why I don't want to stress my adrenals any further and I definitely don't want to go over 40HC. Thanks again. > > I have mostly been on thyroidless and have come a long way since last February but know I have that far to go again and want to start iodoral that I recently bought after it has been suggested a number of times by Gracia Bee on thyroidless group. > I'm 46,thyroidless papillary cancer in 1994 spread to 5 lymph removed also. Guest guest
,I started with 1 tab for a few days then added half tab at a time until I have reached 50mg as my daily intake amount of Iodoral. Also, you need to go to our group's home page and read all of the info there. group mom, has put a lot of info blood sweat and tears into this group and we are encouraged to read the step by step she has all layed out for us. Also, when you have time, go through some of the old e-mails and read. I have belonged here for a year now and it drives me nuts to read the same questions being asked that were asked 2 days ago. That is why all of our conversations can be read at our group's web site.Welcome . There are people here that know a lot more of all of this that I but I have learned a lot just by reading what is at our group's site. from IllinoisFrom: hardrockshoney <sandralhowie@...>iodine Sent: Fri, October 15, 2010 6:33:23 AMSubject: Re: want to start iodoral I'm feeling a little left out, I have asked how to get started twice and no one has replied, is there something I'm missing? Guest guest
Sorry ! You are 9/10th of the way there already! Have you read the new member documents? That is a great place to start! That said, you don’t need to do tests first. Many of us on this loop have never done iodine loading tests. And based on your supplements, you just need to add iodine I think! The list of supporting nutrients is in the new member documents, I keep a copy of that file on my computer for quick reference. 1. Supporting Nutrients for taking Iodine - a. Vit C – 2,000 – 5,000 mgs / day b. Selenium – 200 – 400 mcg / day c. Unrefined salt (Celtic) – ½ tsp / day d. Magnesium – 400 mgs / day e. Optional – ATP CoFactors -1 tablet 2x / day As for how much, you have to see how you feel. Some start at 12.5mg, some higher. Your current supplements are already supporting your adrenals. If you have a concern about your liver, I would try the milk thistle regularly, and maybe add something else if you are seeing heavy detox symptoms. Remember the goal is to detox, but if your pathways are working well, you won’t necessarily have the symptoms. That means your body is dumping it fast before reabsorbing the toxins. Jump right in! Since you have had cancer, I think the general recommendation would be get to 50 mg and beyond to really help your body. And thank you for being so sweet in your third request! J sometimes we are all skimming or just not able to get connected for a couple of days. I just spent a week in the hospital helping my mom, and had days when I couldn’t be online. I am so excited to start iodine. I will take your advise and start Milk thistle regularly, any idea what else will support liver to take along with it? I feel for you with your Mom and hope she has a speedy recovery. My mom who is very unwell with thyroid issues just got out of the hospital from pneumonia. I hope that my getting well will inspire her to try my path to healing instead of listening to her doctors. Guest guest
Dr. Brownstein formulated a product called TLC www.purezenhealth.com which is very good but pricey. You can also use dandelion root extract - 15 drops in water - 2x / day or adding lemon to your water will help as well. Steph Re: want to start iodoral Hey Donna,A HUGE thank you to you. Steph, my diet has always been rotational (candida, leaky gut) as I don't want to develop any further sensitivities, is it different for drops or can one develop a sensitivity to that too if they don't rotate it? > > > > > > I have mostly been on thyroidless and have come a long way since last February but know I have that far to go again and want to start iodoral that I recently bought after it has been suggested a number of times by Gracia Bee on thyroidless group. > > > I'm 46,thyroidless papillary cancer in 1994 spread to 5 lymph removed also. Guest guest
Don't you give it a second thought girl, I would die without my sleep and completely understand what you were saying. I was just telling my mom today that if it were not for the kind and generous with their time moderators of these groups I would not have a hope in hell so far to get better and feel so very blessed to have found them! Take care > > > > > > I have mostly been on thyroidless and have come a long way since last > >February > > > > >but know I have that far to go again and want to start iodoral that I recently > > > > >bought after it has been suggested a number of times by Gracia Bee on > > >thyroidless group. > > > I'm 46,thyroidless papillary cancer in 1994 spread to 5 lymph removed also. > > >Last 5 years of my life were hell from the effects of synthetic thyroid > >hormone. > > > > > > > > Started NTH in February this year and then hydrocortisone soon after but had > >to > > > > >address 2 infected teeth which were removed in Sept. Guest guest
I haven't heard of anyone that has had issues with herbs. Are you on probiotics? That helps leaky gut. Steph Re: want to start iodoral Hi Steph,Oh that's right, I forgot about dandelion and lemon. Steph, my diet has always been rotational (candida, leaky gut) as I don't want to develop any further sensitivities, is it different for drops or can one develop a sensitivity to that too if they don't rotate it?
