Hi Donna,

Thanks for the update. I was wondering how you made out yesterday. You sure have been through the ringer lately.

The heart doctor sounds like the rest of the docs who can't figure out what's wrong and blame it on your thyroid medication. Been there! Done that! When you say that you were so much better on the old Armour, that tells me alot. Naturethroid was also reformulated so I'm not surprised that you had problems with that, also. I still say that the doctors should be taking into consideration your normal heart rate. Anyway, I'm glad you got the saliva test done and will be anxiously awaiting the results.

Take care,

Saw the heart doctor yesterday. He seems to think its from the dosage of thyroid meds. I'm off of the thyroid meds completely since Friday and episodes of atrial flutter have been less. Didn't have any on episodes Sunday, but did on Monday. Tuesday was flutter free. This heart rhythm is more than a fast heart rate. It flutters as well and could cause stroke or turn into atrial fib.I had problems with a fast heart rate when Armour changed formulas. Switched to naturethroid and still had them. Did great on old Armour. I know doctor is going to want me off the nature-throid. At this point, I need to find out if its nature-throid or not. Did OK 7 years ago with T4 and added Cytomel. Not as good as old Armour, but fairly close. Wondering if I should at least try this. Heart doctor said if it doesn't go away when my TSH gets in range, that I'll have to have an cardiac ablation. Pretty scary, and so confused on what to do.I did have a saliva

test done. Mailed it Monday and awaiting the results. Don't know how long it takes for that. Heart doctor kind of blew off that I could have adrenal fatigue saying blood work he has doesn't show any signs of that.So for now....no thyroid until my pcp visit on the 12th. I have a heart blocker to take if the episodes start again. Don't really want to take it, but if they start again I probably will. Testing Tsh on the 10th. TSh only worked for me when I was on Levoxyl with Cytomel. Never worked when on NT, but at this point I wil do anything to stop these flutters. Echocardiogram on the 19th. Donna

, the problem is...doctors want an easy fix and there's not much I can do

in my area. I was lucky to get doctor here to adust by free t4 and free t3, but

now with this heart episode no one is going to dare try this with me.

So upset and about to do anything to not have my heart effected. I know I cannot

do straight T$. Tried that and it was like I wasn't on anything. Thinking about

Dr Arem's treatment of 10% T3 with T4. Not really sure of anything, but I can't

keep worrying and having my family worry. This is all going to cost me over

$2,500 because of my deductible. If it goes into 2011, another $2,500 plus.

Talk about added stress.

I know how it is, Donna. I was just trying to tell you that I understand. You don't need the added stress of money issues. Keep in touch and let us know how it's going.
