I know there are people who use iodine with lyme but I don't know any personally. Iodine helps with all viral, bacterial or fungal issues though. I have found with my own body that the iodine has been essential in starting to overcome all three. In fact I had this big swelling and cyst like thing happen below where I have a root canal with a gold cap in December and I upped my salt at that time to help clear out the toxins and my sinus on that side was all swollen too at the same time, and figured I was going to have to pull the tooth. A couple days ago the dentist that is doing some dentures for my mom did a quick x-ray of it to see if there was an abscess under there and it looked great. He wanted to know what I did, so I told him iodine, essential oils colloidal silver and he said wow that makes me really curious that holistic stuff must have taken care of it. LOL

Wow that's a hi dose of iodoral and selenium. You should be cautious with the selenium. I think the highest amts I have heard taken here is 400mg. Cancer survivors here are taking 100 mgs at a minmum. Why are you taking such high doses?Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry Iodine stomach acheI have been taking 200 mg Iodoral at night (2 doses of 100 mg) for a couple of weeks. I take it at night because it helps me sleep that way. I have sensed that it was blasting the good bacteria in my stomach but I had hoped to address that with a probiotic. Last night I developed a stomach ache after the second dose. I did manage to sleep the rest of the night but the stomach ache persisted through the morning. I think I am having a fairly intense detox reaction, but wonder if there is something else I could be taking to make this easier. A second question: what is the proper ratio of selenium to Iodoral?
