Guest guest
Bethann, I confess that I have not investigated the effect of MSM or sulphur-containing foods on thyroid hormones. I hope someone else here can answer that question. I found the MSM to be invaluable for my need to combat systemic inflammation, but everyone is different and should take into account their personal responses to foods and supplements, and ask a practitioner, if they have one. As for the magnesium powder, I use Calm, unflavored, from vitacost.com. D'Ann > > Does the Sulfur content of the MSM interfere with > thyroid hormones? Guest guest
MSM is very good stuff:) It helps with muscle pain, joint pain, PH, and it helps with allergies and breathing. It can help the skin, hair and nails. But I have to look it up too and see if it interferes with my thyroid meds:) I have a 3 lb container of the stuff, LOL. It tastes really rank if you take it in plain water, but if you put it in some OJ it's not too bad. Or put it on capsules:) DMSO the stuff MSM is derived from is great too. There're a lot of Youtube films about DMSO. There's one in particular of the 30 minutes special done about it in 2007 I believe. Now I'm gonna quit here. Maybe the discussion could be moved to the Iodine OT group, before Steph reminds us?
