Guest guest
Niki do you use natural fabrics? cotton and wool? synthetics tend to overheat the body. From: Niki <synergy1295@...>Subject: Bromoderma/Bromaderma Skin Rashiodine Date: Tuesday, 12 January, 2010, 14:32 Does anybody have pictures of this type of rash? I ALWAYS get a rash all winter long where my clothing rubs (waisteline of pants, bra rub) but this winter, it is worse and looks different. I've been taking Iodine lately (not alot yet: 12.5 - 18) and am wondering if that's the reason but I don't have pics to compare it too. Any input appreciated. I'm going to itch myself into scars. Thanks!
Guest guest
I wonder if it's hives? That's what I have now, cold and/or rubbing starts it off. Identical to mosquito bites here. Mine isn't iodine related as far as I know. Bruce Does anybody have pictures of this type of rash? Guest guest
My sheets are cotton. I'm usually wearing a cotton T-shirt or long-sleeved shirt. I don't feel overheated...I'm usually freezing:( > > > From: Niki <synergy1295@...> > Subject: Bromoderma/Bromaderma Skin Rash > iodine > Date: Tuesday, 12 January, 2010, 14:32 > > > Â > > > > Does anybody have pictures of this type of rash? Guest guest
Mine doesn't look like mosquito bites. It looks angry and spread out. As soon as the heat comes on for the winter, I get these patches of itchy, irritated skin but this is larger than that (those skin patches are definitely part of it though). I don't see my new doc until the 21st but I don't know how to handle this for the next nine days. I wonder if it's a reaction to the Thiroyd I started not too long ago? I was taking Thyroid-S but my scalp started itching terribly and constantly so I switched to Thiroyd. Wonder if it's related to Thiroyd...ugh. Maybe I should go back to Synthroid until I can see my doctor and see if it helps. That will stink. I just lost 13 lbs on the Thyroid-S and it's going to come back if I switch back to Synthroid. Hives tend to cover more area though I think? When I got hives from amoxicillin, I was covered head to toe in hives. This isn't like that. This is in particular areas only. > > Does anybody have pictures of this type of rash? Guest guest
It may be that you are reacting to the latex in the elesticized waist. After a few washings iand dryings it begins to break down, which is why it does not cause the reaction right after purchase. My 12 yo dd has this sensitivity as well. We purchase new panties about 4 times a year for her, or as soon as we see her starting to react.
