On German inserts for zinc preparations (I think the company

'ratiopharm' is one of them) difficulting swallowing is an indication

for zinc supplementation.

unfluoridated. It’s not the toothpaste, it

happened when I used Crest or Tom’s, too. It’s the action of

brushing my teeth and spitting that causes it. Brushing my tongue often

triggers it, too.

I don't have difficulty swallowing - I have some sort of congestion or

accumulation in my throat - chronically - that causes me to gag when I am

brushing my teeth. Sometimes, when it's really bad, it will just cause me

to gag because it's there, regardless of what I am doing at the time.

The area in question is where it, the sinus' drain down the throat. It is what also makes the tongue white.I have it, too. I use neilmed sinus rinse. It squeezes saltwater into the sinus, and I clear it out after the nose, through the throat. Its at Walgreens. Do this and a pile of dryed out material will come out. Clear it with the throat. Observe the particles. Mine were black flecks of fungus the size of a head of a pin.You can add a few drops of iodine, too.Make sure you use the salt! It burns otherwise.
