Guest guest
It does, though I don't know if it does if you just drink it. I put one drop each morning near a recently infected tooth which had been recovering and drank the rest. My teeth on that side of my mouth started to get dark brown patches around the edges (which of course came away when the dentist cleaned my teeth). I stopped putting the drop there and my teeth are their normal colour again. Now I paint my iodine, not because of my teeth but because I seem to absorb best through the skin. > > Hi everyone my teeth are looking greyish after prolonged use of Lugols. Guest guest
I take Iodoral and my teeth are staining much more than normal. Stain doesn't hurt your teeth and a hygienist can remove it easily. The way I see it is it is a small price to pay to have good health. Kris > > > > Hi everyone my teeth are looking greyish after prolonged use of Lugols. Guest guest
Iodoral shouldn't be staining your teeth. It is dissolved deep in the gut - far away from your mouth. I have heard that there are some funguses that will change the color of your teeth. Steph Re: does iodine stain teeth? I take Iodoral and my teeth are staining much more than normal. Guest guest
The increased staining was directly related to taking Iodoral but I think might be right on with the toxic halides being released and causing more staining. also makes a valid point as I don't use toothpaste and I do drink tea, so that combined with dry mouth due to hypothyroidism and something that changed with Iodoral intake has caused an increase in brown stain. I really do think that is possible as many people do get a body chemistry staining and since I am undoubtedly changing my body chemistry with Iodoral I think Iodoral may not be the " cause " but it could likely exacerbate the situation. Kris > > > > No. I do use lugol's. My teeth is as always has been: in the very withe scale without any artificial whitening. May be your diet and/or your eating habits in combination with iodine. Neither my dogs teeth is stained, or hubby's teeth. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > ________________________________ > > From: ownphysician <ownphysician@> > > iodine > > Sent: Thu, June 10, 2010 12:54:31 AM > > Subject: does iodine stain teeth? > > > > > > Hi everyone my teeth are looking greyish after prolonged use of Lugols.
