Guest guest
Hi again Lynn I understand your confusion about the salt- it took me a while to get it figured out! My understanding (mods correct me if I'm wrong) is that there are 2 entirely different issues - #1 is the daily salt intake of 1/2 tsp- with 12 ounces of water. I believe this is to help remove the bromide from the body that the iodine has displaced. #2 issue is salt loading which is entirely different and is done only when one is experiencing signs of bromide toxicity. There have been some recent posts outlining the full protocol and then the salt loading protocol which helped me get it clear finally. I don't think that relying on adding it to your food is going to achieve what you need. You need to ensure that you get the 1/2 tsp once a day (or 1/4 tsp 2x/day). Make sure it's celtic sea salt (I believe Redmans is also good) I don't have a clue which Magnesium is best. I get mine as part of my Cal/Mag supplement, and in my multivite , and then take Mag Chelate as well and/or rub on the Magnesium Oil. I get at least 600 mg per day which is a good amount.
