Guest guest
Swanson's Ultra Full-Spectrum N-Zimes and also their Soil Based Organisms are very good at a reasonable price. I like the Soil Based Organisms especially because it has probiotics, trace minerals and enzymes all together in one capsule. I've used them for a while now and it's an excellent product. But they have an enzyme that is cheaper that does a great job too. Their Liver Essentials has great liver support, and works wonders. Their enzyme products have been the most reasonable I can find for the amount and types of ingredients. I keep an eye on the BOGO page so I can catch the enzymes on sale. Serrapeptase or serrazymes may help as well, it's a strong protease. Bethann On 6/8/2010 12:18 PM, A. wrote: I just learned two things of value. This all stems from my forever clogged liver whenever I increase my iodine dose. Which I am trying to fix, so I can be a more effective detoxer. And in the end would spend less on liver cleanse products. Guest guest
There is some controversy over whether soil based organisms are good. I have a couple of doc friends that advise against them. Also on the Ultra Clear - I have not heard that you need a balanced pH for it to be effective. I have taken it for many years w/o worry. They do have a product called Ultra Clear Plus pH which I found very good in balancing my pH. Guest guest
Thank you Steph.I meant that " your kidney functions more efficiently if you have balanced PH."Not that Ultra clear does.I meant that it was useful to learn that I could have a chance at detoxing more efficientlyif my PH were balanced, and then I wouldn't need, possibly, to spend $100 pluson liver detox products each month.Good to know about the soil nutrients. Can you suggest a good enzyme?-AliOn Jun 8, 2010, at 3:58 PM, ladybugsandbees wrote:There is some controversy over whether soil based organisms are good. Guest guest
I see an allergy doc very regularly for shots and checked the other day about gluten/wheat allergy testing . Found out I was tested in 2004 and was found to be negative Do most people do it by trial and error instead of official testing? I am going to see the doc at the end of the month and talk to them again about it. Could I have developed the allergy in the last few years? Thanks again for all the help! You might want to experiment by going gluten free for 2 weeks and see if it makes a difference. If it does and you want to be tested for it, go right away as the antibody titers drop quickly when a person goes gluten free, yielding negative results. And Testing is about 70% accurate. But the final answer is if you feel better being gluten free. I no longer have GERD and heartburn now that I am gluten free. I never did have gut symptoms, but do now if I advertently eat something with gluten in it. Sometimes it takes up to 2 years or longer for the gut to heal. > > >
Guest guest
You more than likely have had Celiac disease all along. Crohn's and other digestive issues are misdiagnosed a lot. Also Celiac disease does not develop into cancer really quick, it does carry a higher risk of developing cancer than those without it.LinnOn Jun 10, 2010, at 3:32 PM, DeNormandie wrote: I developed celiac's at the age of 45 also having crohn's and ischemic coloitis. I've got three things going on. At the age of 19 I was dx with crohn's disease. Last June celiac's. In fact the blood work came back negative but the biopsy told the whole truth. I would advise everyone to get a colonoscopy that hasn't had one if you are having problems. Yeah I know, you don't want any stranger down there but it is a LIFE SAVER! And when you had had one of those test done you can just about do anything. The only part about the test I don't like and HATE is drinking the gallon jug of stuff and pooping my brains out til the next day but you have to do what you have to do. Celiac's can go into cancer really quick and effect other organs in your body as so does crohn's. Trust me it is worth the test. Saved my life and i have 4 children whom I'm waiting patiently waiting for grand children. from IllinoisFrom: Mishie <michele.westgmail>iodinegroups (DOT) comSent: Wed, June 9, 2010 7:42:40 PMSubject: Re: Detox/Ultra Clear I see an allergy doc very regularly for shots and checked the other day about gluten/wheat allergy testing . > > >
