Guest guest
I received a letter this morning from Malcolm (Customer Service Centre) Department of Health in response to my message to them about the treatment of patients with post thyroid deficiencies. I have pulled out the rest of my hair. He replied on behalf of Alan (Shadow Health Secretary)… " I am afraid there is little I can add to previous replies we have sent you on this subject. It is the responsibility of health professionals to decide on the most appropriate medication for those with an under active thyroid. If a person has any concerns over the drug they are prescribed, they need to raise these concerns with their GP or consultant. The Department has no plans to produce guidance on the treatment of an under active thyroid. " Yet another idiot who hasn't even read what I wrote asking about THE TREATMENT OF POST THYROID DEFICIENCIES - AND NOT ABOUT THE TREATMENT OF HYPOTHYROIDISM. Grrrrrrr!
