Guest guest
iodine can cause autoimmune disease? There are a lot of these studies out there like this and some prominent authorities like Dr. Shames...author of Thyroid Power and Dr. Ray Peat strongly believe excess iodine should be avoided and may be the cause of the increase we are seeing in AIT. Is the iodine that Shames and Peat are talking about the same as the iodine that Abraham and Brownstein are using? Brownstein reports nothing but good results in AIT. Does Dr. Brownstein have an explanation for these negative studies? I have searched everywhere to try to find an explanation about why there is such a dramatic difference of opinion. Germany recently required that certain foods be iodinated...and then the country experienced a 20 fold increase in Hashi's. Can anyone explain this? I am taking iodine for an irregular heartbeat...and am concerned I could be harming myself...Thanks for any input!! God Bless....
