Worried about lack of iodine

I need some advice about how to replace an Rx of 30mg of Armour. I've been a

week without taking any thyroid since my pharmacy (Walgreens and CVS) cannot get

it. I guess I need to call the doctor and request changing to an available

kind. But I'm wondering which is best. I've taken synthroid before. (no

negative reaction). But what is closest to Armour? And if any of you know the

latest update on Armour manufacturing, I'd like to know.
