Dear Dr. Maher,

I'm a little confused. I know it's a good increase, but still

well below the normal range of 241-827. I am a very fit 48 year old

man, but lately, I've been suffering from a loss of energy, I'm guessing

as a result of low t. Low t. has never been a problem of mine in

the past so I'm concerned something I am taking is affecting my bodies

production.

Thanks kindly for your reply and I will look at the product you recommend.

Take care

Dale,

Though you use different labs a T from 20 to 117 is quite good!

I suggest you use saliva, as FREE testosterone is what counts,

Plus it is cheaper and easier to use the same time each day..

I would wait a week and test DHEA, testosterone, estradiol

and androstene at 8:30 AM.

Then I would suggest you try AndroEdge.

Apply one pump to different areas of the skin around 7 AM and

just before sleep to mimic the circadial rhythm.( Rest 5 days

between bottles.) After one week retest the above four hormones

90 minutes after applying, about 8:30 AM, as the peak is short

lived

DHEA needs to be taken in 200 to 400 mg doses in men over 50

to raise testosterone. Under 40 probably raises estrogen as much or

more.

Consider zinc supplementsation as well.

Post the results and CC to me.

Dr. Maher,

Sorry, but one more question: Who do you recommend for saliva

testing?

Do you happen to know how many milligrams of prohormones are contained in

one pump full of AndroEdge? I looked on your site but could only find the

names of the ingredients with no quantities.

Thanks.

Following my letter to my Doc I got excited when a letter came through my door

to go in for a blood test. I was rather dissapointed when i arrived to be told i

would only get the Free T4 and TSH test but at least I thought thats a start.

Anyway my results came in and I am feeling a little more dissapointed as I was

convinced the test would come back worse than my last two.

Results are

Free T4 15.6 and TSH 1.94

Maybe I am not Hypothyroid after all, could it just be Adrenal fatigue??
