Guest guest
Hi all, I've just been told that the ANA blood test I had a couple of weeks ago is negative. I don't know much about this test, but I think it shows whether the nucleus of cells is under attack from auto immune antibodies. What I don't understand is that I have hashimoto's, which I thought is an auto immune disease, so am I right in thinking that the ANA test would be positive in that case? I may be totally wrong here, and would appreciate it if someone could set me right. thanks in advance A
