Guest guest
The most plausible theory might be money- after the government has been promoting putting the industrial waste fluoride into our water all these years, how can we sue them for health problems that are not caused by fluoride (because of lack of US research and no official souce proclaiming it so).The waste fluoride comes from the aluminum, glass etching, and metallurgy industries which otherwise would pay Big Bucks to put the stuff in a land fill- but what a coup! Now they get paid for it thanks to Uncle Sam. also it was a huge toxic waste product of early nuclear reactors. About the same time the nuclear industry was gearing up, fluoride amazingly turned from being deemed a toxic waste product by all medical professionals to becoming a benevolent tooth protector. The city councils and people in stown, PA were opposed to fluoridation but somehow the state of PA convinced a smaller part of the water system to fluoride by offering ??? (new golf clubs and trips?) and by offering to pay for the fluoride, and voila! the whole system is now fluoridated. Also, in PA, according to State law, once fluoridated, a system cannot be unfluoridated. We are not fluoridate by law, yet. But each year for 20 years, legislators have proposed state wide legislation. Sylvia

Guest guest
No the cities pay for fluoride. When it comes out of the scrubbers from the phosphate fertilizers company instead of having to pay for toxic waste disposal, they put it in a rubber lined truck and call it good stuff for teeth. The municipalities then pay for it. Karin
Guest guest
Awful! I am in PA and our city a few years ago started adding flouride to the water. :-( We were quite upset, but there was nothing we could even do. Even signing petitions did not help. My little guy takes a bath and often puts water into his mouth. I can't tell you as a parent how upset I am about this. Guest guest
Flouride only helps to harden teeth in 5 year olds gettin gnew teeth. After that age, it does not help to harden teeth. I took a chemistry class and the professor told us this. So, it is a waste of public funds if the city thinks it is helping people's teeth. The cavity rate was about the same w/ or w/o flouridation. Guest guest
Fluorine, Bromine, Chlorine; all blockers of your Iodine receptors. Makes the doctors rich!Kills off the old, weak, and sick. Just like any chemist will tell you. But the corporate machine will stop you from removing it.Its in the water because marketing people first tried giving it to cattle and they refused to eat. It is a lie to being useful, and it simply has to be put somewhere. They said lets say it helps teeth. Same way spent uranium is used to irradiate foods. The primary function is dispose of it and make a buck. The result is the dumbing down of America.See the attached pdf to see what evil they perpetrate.Dennis From: Karin <krmaya (DOT) com>Subject: Re: why is fluoride in our water anyway?iodinegroups (DOT) comDate: Wednesday, December 30, 2009, 1:08 AM No the cities pay for fluoride. Guest guest
I should have added, he has been trying to do this for over 50 years. the information isthe same as it was then, there is no new information. It was always considered badfor people by the professional community (if they investigated). He was on a radioprogram about 50 years ago when Chicago was thinking of add it to the water.
