Heard the typhoid vaccine is not very effective, and more than likely will

make her ill.As for the hep shots.Did she not get the HepB through

work?Usually that is one they push on medical professionals. For hepA I

suggest just putting a few drops of GSE in drinking water. And use a GSE rinse

for any fresh foods you can not peel.Has she looked into the actual disease

rates for that area? The CDC yellow book would have the basics.

There is NO requirement for these vaccines and all vaccines are extremely

dangerous.

Hepatitis A vaccine is made from aborted fetal tissue

I travel all over the world to places that don't have the best of water.

You just drink bottled water, don't eat fruit without peeling it, don't eat

melons as may be injected with contaminated water (so they weigh more and

bring mroe $$). Hepatitis A is a mild disease generally and most people

don't even get it.

  • 2 years later...

I have read about vaccines and how they are bad for the immune systemm. One

thing that is usually emphasiszed is that the eradication of diseases in the USA

has been more from better sanitation than from vaccines....

I love to travel, and look for every opportunity to do so. I've been to Egypt

twice, Turkey, all over Europe, Mexico, and Central America... all on a

shoestring.... going way out in areas where tourists don't go.... Some of the

places I've been to the sanitation was atrocious, and the water would make me

sick with vomiting... I would drink bottled water of course, but once way out in

El Salvador, there was no bottled water....I managed not to get sick that time

somehow -- while other times, drinking bottled water and cooked food, I got sick

anyway....

I have agonized about taking vaccines before I go off to some far away place....

usually I go ahead and take the vaccine, as I don't see any alternatives...

There's a book in the library that tells which diseases are prevalent in which

parts of the world, I forget the title right now, I would consult it and their

vaccine recommendations.... the clinic I went to also had a book like that.....

My first trip to Egypt I agaonized about taking Malaria preventative medicine...

as I recall, I read that the drug would hurt your eyes.... I think I did take it

the first trip but not the second one, as I was not so near the NIle.... most of

the Malaria is in the north in the delta region.

Any other opinions or experiences with traveling and vaccines?

Irene is right....about 15 years ago I went to a week long seminar in Salt Lake

about taking care of yourself in emergencies and they had a world renoun speaker

who was

a medical doctor and an expert in disease and the immune system.....she told us

to completely stay away from shots including the flu shot....they have

ingredients in them that slowly attack the immune system.....this fact is not

universally known by the general population....she said it would open ourselves

up to cancer and all other auto immune diseases.....we never had them and after

that I had to fight to keep my kids from having them....they even threatened to

keep them out of school but never did.

They - and all vaccines - do damage to the immune system.

The more vaccines you use, the higher your chances of a disease that

needs the humoral side of the immune system that is suppressed when the

antibody side is over-stimulated by vaccines. It makes the later

trigger-happy and you became at risk for auto-immune diseases because

your thymus and humoral activity is suppressed and can't prevent it in

the normal way.

So you increase your risk of cancer, fibromyalgia, allergies, arthritis,

excess cortisol stress hormone (cushing's syndrome), diabetes, and a

host of other immune skewed diseases.

Much safer - an no immune system damage :-)

Namaste,

Irene
