Guest guest
I would like to point out to a possible cause for Iodine deficiency. Caffeine and Iodide bind to make periodide. This is the way a lot of decaffeinated coffee is produced. This makes the iodine in your food unavailable. Taking caffeine regularly certainly is a good way to deprive your body of iodine.Could be a reason why some people have problems reaching iodine sufficiency. And guess what? Caffeine + Iodine Deficiency bring cancer :http://sciencelinks.jp/j-east/article/200312/000020031203A0323453.phpOn the other hand, it seems that coffee in the form of a small espresso has the least caffeine (and more aroma) than any other kind of coffee you can drink.I liked the kick of caffeine. Now I just make myself an espresso and smell it! Just as nice as drinking it once you get used to it...And chocolate is chockfull of caffeine, don't forget.Best wishesKalliopi
Guest guest
How do they know it was the caffeine and not the gluten itself, since they added that variable with the caffeine? " From 1 week after the DHPN initiation, the rats were respectively fed a basal diet in which the protein was exchanged for 20% gluten, containing 1500 ppm caffeine+ID, 300 ppm caffeine+ID, 60 ppm caffeine+ID, 1500 ppm caffeine or ID or a basal diet alone for 12 weeks. " Also, right there it stated the results did not reach statistical significance. Needs more study IMO.
