Guest guest
Hello All Could someone please confirm that I am right in saying that taking levothyroxine will stop or decrease high antibodies? My daughter is trying to become diagnosed, she has all the symptoms and you kind members advised on her Genova thyroid and adrenal tests a few months ago. Her GP is being quite helpful and she is due to see an Endo (although she intends to see Dr P anyway when she has as many test results gathered together as possible.) She has extremely high antibodies and when she suggested to her GP that treatment with L/thyroxine would reduce them, he said he could not understand how T4 could make this happen. Are my daughter and I wrong in this assumption, what happens to the antibodies when treatment is started with L/thyroxine. It would be nice to be able to tell the doctor he is incorrect, if he is of course. Hope everyone had a good time in Yorkshire. Would love to have come too, but being in West Wales its a bit too far for me. How about a more central location, like Tamworth for instance. I used to work for the Fire Sevice and Tamworth was a venue for some of its civilan training courses, being central to most Brigades. Anyway I look forward to all news from the event.
