Hello all, i'm doing this on behalf of my partner.

He is 29 and has just been told that he will need his thyroid out due

to a goiter that he has.

He has had all the tests done and the thyroid is normal. If he does

have the thyroid out then he will be on tablets for the rest of his

life. My partner doesn't understand why they want to take it all out

and not just the goiter.

Does anyone have any advice

thanks

cheryl
