I've found that if I just slice bananna on top of my toast in the morning it keeps the cramps at bay. Make sure your magnesium and calcium are in balance. And if I am not getting enough sun to ensure vitamin D, I take supplements (D3). It takes all four being in balance for me not to have leg cramps.
