Who was the lady who worked with benefits?

Hi,

I remember a while back someone on here said they worked with benefit

applications and could help us get disability if needed...

I was wondering whether this person would be willing to help my mum? She is in

her late 40's and my brother who lives with her is 10. She has a severe

arthritic problem in her hip joints, which leaves her barely able to walk, she

also gets stuck if she stays in one place for too long (my brother has to help

her off the loo sometimes!!). She is waiting for an operation onthe NHS to try

to sort it out.

And guess what? She has been refused Disability allowance! I just wondered if

the lady in question might be able to give me some tips on how to appeal.
