Maybe someone can help please:

Anyone know the status for Os of aloe vera (juice etc)?

Lately I have GERD (no fun - no sleep) and do not want to take drugs -

want to fix it with diet if possible. It's mainly caused by my need to

take huge doses of potassium chloride (because of an inherited kidney

defect combined with Cushings) and the fact that the prescription

version comes in STUPID form which is time release only.

The time release means it sits on the stomach lining for a LONG

time making holes in it worse than a ton of aspirin - instead of

dissolving right away with the liquid and food I swallow with it. I have

to take it 5 times a day including near bed time and it's having a

darned good try at killing me.

In South Africa (pre-1969) I could take plain OTC KCl salt tablets - no

time realse s*** around the granules. In USA the wonderful FDA here

mucks up everything they can get their grubby paws into, and requires

the time release on Rx version incase someone takes an overdose - and

also requires Rx for any amount greater than needed by a kitten with a cold.

Any other ideas also appreciated!

Anyhoo:

My doctor suggested aloe vera juice concentrate as one option to help.

Is it O-compatible please if anyone knows?

Namaste,

IRene
