Guest guest Posted February 23, 2009 Report Share Posted February 23, 2009 Daily Telegraph - 23rd February 2009 The GMC is facing a judicial review over claims that it failed to investigate the death of a 10 year old boy., Robbie died of 's disease, a chronic but treatable condition affecting the adrenal glands, nearly 19 years ago. Robbie's father, (from West Wales) asked the GMC to investigate, claiming that doctors had tried to cover up their mistakes. When he was told it would not, he sought the advice of the charity " Action Against Medical Accidents " . The charity has brought the judicial review against the GMC which will be considered by the High Court tomorrow. Mr said " I will pursue this as long as I can~ " . Watch this space…..
