Sherry,

Yes, massage. I do forget to mention that. I think because Massage for me is a touchy thing. If they are not used to working on someone with Fibro I can leave worse than when I got there. I also can be put in a Flare. However, it is an order by my last Naturpathic doctor that I must have a massage at least every other week. Especially to get things flowing through my Lymphs. When I find the right person, ohhhhhhhhhhhhh, the relief.

Thank for posting that Sherry!

Hey what is your pigs name?

hugs,

Sue

Don’t forget massage too (if you can handle that). I had to go yesterday after 4 days of a headache and hip pain that wouldn’t quit and my guy worked a miracle on me BUT he also worked his butt off and told me that I absolutely can NOT go three weeks between sessions (I’m sure some of that is because he has to work so much harder than if I can get there every 2 weeks). Last night was the first time since Thursday I slept most of the night through instead of being woken up by aching hips and NO headache today.

Kim,

I too have what they think is Bursitis. I had the shot in the shoulder and it seems to help. I also have issues with both hips. I have had them xrayed. Not a surprise they hurt given my sport of choice. I have tendonitis in both. Very common with Fibromites. Yoga is very helpful for things of this sort. Walking for me just makes it worse. I do a lot of walking at the barn. Not helpful. It inflames my tendonitis. However yoga helps lengthen and soften everything. Also there are many positions used to help with pain and stress. There are instructors that will come to your home and put together a plan tailored just for your body that you could do for yourself every day.

hugs,

Sue
