Awe - Shucks , now you have made me blush all over . If I am any of these, it is because I have been there, worn the T-shirt and come out on top, so I know exactly what our members are going through and feel their sheer frustration. More and more, I feel determined that we have to put a stop to this, and I can promise you that I will do everything I can to succeed.

Not only that, but the answers to everyone else's questions are so

helpful too.

They are responsible for me ever asking a question of my own and

getting the help I needed.

Oh no!! lol, doesnt that wig keep you warm? I would love to live in Yorkshire

it's so beautiful, Im having a yukky day today really grouchy and tearful can

really feel a dip in thyroid hormones, I can really understand why people up the

dose of Armour before they are supposed to, I feel like I could do with a tad

more, it's only my ninth day, Sheila I hoped your snuggled up on your sofa with

your quilt now, its suppose to be very cold tonight. you need one of those warm

scarves to wrap round your head.

week going to bed around 9 and sleeping right through, last night we had a power

cut and I went to bed at 8.10PM and slept right through till 7, havent done that

Hi Sheila

Margaret here.I managed to have my 9am Cortisol blood test on Thursday and will no doubt have the results tomorrow.I started Armour Feb 1st and have been upping slowly.Current dose 2and half grains since 1st April .As you know my recent TSH came back 9.6 .I feel okay and not like a 9.6 really exept for one thing. All my pains have returned which had gone on thyroxine.Back of knee hips dead foot etc. Also when I started my pulse was 59 to 60 BPM resting. Now since being on 2and half grains is 74BPM resting.Very strange isnt it.

I dont know wheather I should plod on and go to 3 grains in another 16 days or add a bit of thyroxine or wait for Endoprat in May and let him see results and get a Free T3 and T4 done. What do you think. xxxxx

This is probably because your body is unable to absorbe all the

thyroid hormones in Armour because you have low adrenal reserve. This MUST be

treated with the appropriate medication and if the NAE isn't doing the trick,

then you will need hydrocortisone replacement Margaret. However, wait and see

what the NHS test reveals - if you have 's disease, this should show up,

if you have low adrenal reserve, it probably won't, and you will have to go

down this road on your own.

Well, if being hypothyroid causes hair loss on the outer

third of your eyebrows, there is no reason why once you are on a medication

that starts your thyroid working again, you should not grow that hair back

again. It happens to quite a few people that once their adrenals start

functioning better, their thyroid does too.

Luv - Sheila

Is it my imagination or are there really signs

that my eyebrows are growing in length and luxuriousness -- after a year or

more of use of corticosteroids and T3, along with all and more of the

recommended vitamins and minerals? Perhaps it shows the need for dogged

perseverance. Hans
