Guest guest
I have had a thyroid problem now for about 9 years. It was first detected as I was struggling to conceive. I did eventually have a succesful pregnancy, and my thyroid was monitored throughout. However I have not felt well for the last 4 years, since I stopped breast feeding my son. I suffer from lethargy, exhaustion I cannot loose weight what ever I do? and many other symptoms. The doctor puts it down to lifestyle, due to having a 4 yr old but I don't agree with him. Eventually he has agreed to take further tests e.g celiac test and anemia but these have all come back normal. On Sheila's advice I the asked him to take blood for antibodies, copper, zinc etc - again they have all come back 'within the range'. He has said that he will now refer me to a consultant - I have tried acupuncture, homeopathy, massage and cranial head massage to increase my energy levels and none have been able to sustain it, even on a a week by week basis. I take 125mg of thyroxine and I have recently had a TSH level of 0.15, PLEASE can you give me any advice or on any further tests that may be of help?
