Guest guest
I like to slice kumquats and put them in salads. I have also made this lemon drink with kumquats instead of lemon: 's Lemon Drink 1 whole lemon (rind & all) 1 cup of water 1-2 tablespoons olive oil Add Stevia to taste (or honey if you can handle it) § Throw all ingredients in a blender for 1 minute. § Strain the mixture after blending to remove the pulp. (I like to leave the pulp in myself) § Divide into 3 portions. Drink one portion with each meal. It's good for your liver and digestion... which ultimately is good for your skin too. > All of our kumquats are sun-ripened, of course. No problem with sunshine here! My kids > love them although I've only found a couple of good recipes for them. The kumquat > preserves go fast in our house! > There was a receipe for making a tea with them on that site I gave. The receipe could also be used as a medicine for chest congestion and phlem, but I would imagine it would be good just to drink and enjoy. > > >
