Dear Max, The best direutric is water to start with to flush the

system.

Water can't be stored in the body if it is flushed out with other

water.

It

just wants to go along for the ride. R in Nova Scotia

P.S. I drink 11 glasses a day

LOL--hey guys. I wasn't the one with the water retention problem. I was

just listing diuretics for Irene. I probably drink that much water also (I'm

assuming she's talking about 8 OZ glasses).

I know the feeling. My mother could never understand why I could not

stand the vegetables she made for us but ate giant plates of veg at my

grandmother's house. My mother's idea of cooking vegetables was to put

them all in a pot at about 3pm, fill the pot 3/4 full with water, and

let them " cook " till meal time at about 7 or 8pm.

It might have helped if she served the water. But that went down the

drain where the rest belonged :-)) Thankfully my dad grew radishes year

round and I also liked his radish sandwiches. At they were not boiled to

death :-)

I'm an odd one out then. My problem is getting bored with the same

tastes all the time. I need variety or I want to eat the bad stuff

just because I want something different.
