Guest guest
I read years ago about how an absence of bitter-tasting items in the diet makes one crave sweets. Does anyone know more about this? --Gretchen ----- Original Message ----- From: Irene de Villiers Dandelions make an okay vegetable. ....I do not have a sweet tooth in general and was thinking as I ate the dandelions that I enjoyed them more at the last bite than the first. Our society is way to trained to expect everything to taste the same or to taste sweet. There are plenty of other taste sensations we just need to get used to so we can also enjoy those properly too.As the ayurvedic folks say - it you have a lot of tastes in a meal it is far more satisfying. Deepak Chopra has a little book out on weight control using ayureveda, when I find my copy (I have too many book cases!) I'll post a name if you like. It's in there in more detail. .....Irene -- Irene de Villiers, B.Sc; AASCA; MCSSA; D.I.Hom.
