Guest guest
No, Vilik, I'm sorry I don't and i have to admit that I don't know of an optimum mix. The only thing I know about is Emergen-C. I'm outside a lot here in Dallas in the 100 degree weather and sometimes we sweat so much that we literally have massive salt (and electrolyte rings, I'm sure), on our clothing. Emergen-C helps, but i'm not sure it's very complete. In my ignorance, I'm not sure what would be complete or optimum, either. Guest guest
Emergen-C doesn't have good electrolytes unless it says so on the label. They have many different variations. The same company that makes Emergen-C makes an electrolyte additive for any liquid. Ask at the store where you get the Emergen-C. jim Zell wrote: > From: c_zell@... Guest guest
Dear , Concentrace is reconstituted brine from the Great Salt Lake with most of the sodium removed. It has over 45 minerals in it, including lots of magnesium, all in colloidal suspension, and totally available. Just add a few drops in a glass of water, and you are getting all your trace minerals, and its very cheap. A $20 bottle lasts for 2 - 3 months. Its good for your pets, too! Best of Health! Guest guest
This is probably good in a pinch, but the problem with something like this is that many trace minerals no longer exist in the soils growing the food we eat, so they won't be in the flax seed, even if it is organic. The ConcenTrace minerals Saul recommended are from a salt sea that dried up before we were here to begin depleting the soil. Even sea salt is washed to make it white. I use Real Salt with the impurities left in for this reason. It, like the ConcenTrace, has it all. So, if you want trace minerals, that is the way to go. But, if you want electrolytes in a convenient package, I would use either concentrace, or the electrolytes sold by the people who make Emergen-C. jim Falk wrote: > From: Falk <lovetree@...> > > > I dont mean to underscore anyone, but you can make your own > electrolytes > by adding to one glass of water 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda, > 1/2 > teaspoon of sugar, and a pinch of salt.(you can use honey or > dextrose > instead of sugar ) > That would be for immediate relief due to dehydration...you can > mix a > " drink " of sorts that would have longer lasting effects by > finely > grinding (in an electric coffee grinder) to powder form flax > seed and > adding a couple Tablespoons to a tall glass of water ...drink > swiftly > because it thickens up. Guest guest
Thanks for the reply, I was hecktering my chemist this morning by suggesting that given a menu of electrolyte compounds that it would be possible to make up a balanced electrolyte mixture. as I live in England shipping ect large amounts of electrolyte compounds could be as expensive as the product it's self. Thanks again for your help. Adam > Adam, if you are looking for a electrolyte product, a > good one is called Electrolyte Stamina by Trace > Mineral Research. Guest guest
Hello I don't think supplements would be of much help since oral absorption rates vary dramatically all the time. I'm on a low sodium diet too and I've been complaining to the Doctor about my right big toe feeling numb but he says that with all the medications that I'm on, my electrolytes is bound to be off and weird things will be happening but that there's not much I could do about it because keeping the load off the heart is the priority. I guess if I could keep the sodium low enough and maybe get my weight down then that would ease the load on my heart enough to sneak down on the diurectics which are what messes with the electrolyte levels. ((( Caring Hugs ))) Helen Need some help if you don't mind. What is the easiest and safest way to get your electrolytes back to normal? What is easiest and safest way to maintain them, via a supplement? And has to be low sodium. Could be one reason I'm feeling so badly. Guest guest
Dear , A couple of drops of Essential Elements (formerly Concentrace) in each glass of water will keep your electrolytes topped up. Any specific mineral supplementation recommended for this aggressive approach? My diet is 'ok' but could be better (about half of my foods are raw fruits and vegetables, but the other half can be not nearly so healthy sometimes). brian > > Dear Ron, > > > > Cut the recipe in half for her. > > > > Poor thing, battered so early... > > > > Too bad she didn't get ozone instead of poison... > > > > Oh well, make up for lost time now. > > > > Best of health! > > Dr. Saul > > > > ----------------------------------------------------------------- --- > ---- > > > > > > ----Original Message Follows---- > > From: " Ron Petruccione " <petruccione@s...> > > Reply-oxyplus > > <oxyplus > > > Subject: RE: Re: Plugged liver > > Date: Wed, 17 Mar 2004 08:38:04 -0800 > > > > Saul, > > If I want my 9yr. daughter to do the H.C. liver flush should I cut > > everything by 1/2 or 1/3? > > She has been on antibiotics for a good portion of her early years > and only > > on again off again the last 4yrs. Guest guest
Salt, potassium, magnesium, calcium Just supplement them at RDA for a day or two and you should be fine. Most important is the salt. Electrolytes Hi everyone, I am just recovering from a severe episode of diarrhea. A lady at the coffee shop told me that my electrolytes would be all out of whack. She didn't know how to fix this problem. If anyone knows, I would really appreciate any suggestions. Thanks! Kind regards, Trudy This list is intended for patients to share personal experiences with each other, not to give medical advice. Guest guest
Allergy Research makes a similar product. You can see it here: http://www.allergyresearchgroup.com/proddesc/category/minerals.htm#elect I've sold both the e-lyte and the Allergy Research electrolytes. Comparing the bottling, It looks like both products are probably produced by the same source and labeled for each reseller. If anyone is interested I've got a few bottles of the allergy resource balanced electrolyte that I will sell for $10/bottle + shipping. This is less than what I paid for it and 50% less than what most sites retail the product for. They're just sitting on the shelf and I could use the money to pay some CC debt off. Anyway, email me if interested. When they're gone, I'm not ordering any more. Guest guest
I am finding that the best source for electrolytes is young coconut water. You can get it at whole foods. I like the Vita Coco brand, but if you have the patience, get a fresh "young" coconut, the water is even more tasty. Do not get the brown coconut, as they have meat only. You can buy them at asian markets and they are mostly peeled and look like this From: Laffin <jlaffin@...>Subject: electrolytesiodine Date: Tuesday, April 28, 2009, 8:51 AM hi,is there a way to get electrolytes tested without going to a physician? i recently went for hormone testing and asked my doctor to do electrolytes but he didn't (there were lots of other things too that i felt were important that he did not test. ugh). best, julie
