Has anybody experienced more success with Lugols over Iodoral?I took Lugols for two years with great success.I started Iodoral tow months ago and see a lessening in the positive effects.Mainly, the end of my insomnia. With the Iodoral I have noticed my sleeping isn't as good.Pamela

The ONLY reason given for taking iodoral over lugols is to resolve possible gastric irritation, so if you take lugols after meals and have no problems, then why would you pay more for iodoral to get an encased tablet that is more expensive and might be less absorbable than the luquid lugols ?

I think there is a blend of what people are taking. Mainly it is Iodoral, Liquid Lugol's and some Nascent.

Hi Steph, Is there really an advantage taking Lugol's over Iodoral? I really thought they were identical in benefits. But, I have noticed I am not sleeping as well with the Iodoral as I did with the Lugol's. The Lugol's was the only thing that helped the insomnia I had had for over 10 years. Other than the fillers in the Iodoral they are the same for iodine and iodide content. The iodoral is easier on the stomach for some people. Your stomach acid may have been diluting the lugols. Are you taking your iodoral too close to bed time?

Yes, I am. Lugol's was my 'miracle' cure for my insomnia. The Iodoral does't help it. ODDladybugsandbees <ladybugsandbees@...> wrote: Maybe Iodoral is detoxing you. Are you taking salt and Vit C?
