Health food stores would be the only likely places but highly unlikely that they

exist. Breads and crackers need all those avoid things to hold them together,

the grains are expensive, and their taste is different. Not a lot of demand for

them. Have you tried any of those grains yet.

There are rice crackers without wheat or spelt.

grains, including spelt, which is avoid for nonsecretors?

Thank you!

Hoping there might be an online source, although I couldn't find one. I read

You can buy the flour at the HFS or maybe even the supermarket. There's a

recipe at http://www.recipezaar.com/96980 that uses no wheat flour.

I like amaranth and quinoa. I haven't tried teff, but I'm curious about it. What

I'm really looking for is something easy for a snack; something I can put nut

butter on, for example. I don't tolerate even the neutral starchy grains (like

rice and rye), so I was looking for something less starchy, less grainy. Hoping

there might be an online source, although I couldn't find one. I read about

Ethiopian teff bread, but only got recipes, no source for the bread.

How about crisping some hearts of romaine lettuce in the fridge, and spreading

your nut butter on the leaves?

Delicious on celery or apples. THese would be better also if there is a weight

Rice crackers are delicious with nut butter.

I love almond butter on apples, but apples are an avoid. Actually part of what

I want to do is gain weight. But any sweet, grain, or fruit sets off my sinuses

and gives me headaches.

I've done various things for candida over the years. What sort of digestive

treatments are you thinking of?

Or you can stop eating sugar and carbs and the candida will die of

starvation:-) They live on your excess bloodsugar:-)

Most importantly the diet but also supplements to help them die off and

definitely soem acidophilus to reestablish the good bacteria. Without the good

growth your food is not properly digested and easier for the yeast to return.

I'm close to no carbs. Trouble is when I completely avoid any grains, sweets, or

fruit, I lose weight. I'm wasting away to nothing.

How long does it take for candida to die? Will they starve before I do?

Sprouted grain bread but you still don't want much. A little now and then.

Follow the diet, focus on meats and veges, exercise, drink water and don't

worry too much about calories. Eat better and eat less.

May take a while to starve it out but you need to get a healthier balance so the

candida doesn't like living there. Hence the supplements. If you want some

suggestions just ask.

Teff is a grain that is neutral for type O non secreters. It is tiny and

Ethiopians make bread out of it (more like a pancake) which they use to scoop up

other foods like stew. That's about all I know about teff; I've never seen it.
