Guest guest
Dear Sir, Following is brief introduction which I would like posted. My Name is Freeman. I am a Medical Scientist at the Royal Darwin Hospital. Which is in Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia I am currently responsible for the Serology area in Pathology. The majority of our work deals with STI ( Sexually Transmitted Infections) HIV, Hepatitis B & C, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Chlamydia trachomatis and Syphilis. We also perform HIV Viral Load Assays for our HIV Positive Population. WE have one of the highest STI Rates in Australia due to our very mixed population although our rate of HIV is similar to else where in Australia. I have a strong interest in HIV. My reason for particular interest in the India situation is that I am married to an Indian girl. She is from Rajput background but we do not believe in the caste and class system. My wife comes from the Town of Arrah in Bihar State, and she is currently involved in Health Education. I am Australian born Anglo background and have been to India many times. I now feel it is like my home and thus would like to help. I feel that my experience may be of use to you in controlling the HIV spread in India. I look forward to more communication with you.
