Guest guest
Hi Judith, dyspraxia is not on the AS ,see link below, but can often occur with an AS disorder. My daughter had her dyspraxia assessment yesterday, that was discounted, but still concerns over her gross motor/co-ordination. She is to be assessed now in school, and being referred for physio. I was hypo/hyper after giving birth to her, but often wonder if I was when pregnant, as I have since tested positive in the TPO altough not a great deal (150), and she has host of problems since birth, like ongoing severe constipation that was diagnosed at 3 mnths, she is now 8 almost, just recently diagnosed with glue ear, has had speech therapy. She is a bright child but doesn't make friends in her peer group often choosing to play alone or below her age. I do worry about her a lot. The birth and pregnancy were difficult, had PE and then forceps delivery. I do wonder sometimes if thyroid to blame and blame myself sometimes for being quite harsh as she can be prone to quite bad behaviour but generally is a loving child. http://www.nas.org.uk/nas/jsp/polopoly.jsp?d=364 & a=9120 Jill XX > > hi there, I think dyspraxia is on the autistic spectrum, so this is caused by antibodies crossing from the placenta to the baby. >
