Am I suffering from Hypothyroidism?

I have been suffering from the signs/symptoms listed below for

nearly

two years now. My GP has diagnosed chronic fatigue due to working

full

time and bringing up two babies, however, I have tried endless

therapies such as homeopathy, reiki, etc but to no avail. The GP has

also put me on antidepressants and sleeping tablets - low doses for

short periods to see if it makes a difference but these had no

effect.

The main problems that affect me particularly bad on a daily basis

are:

1) Intolerable 'goosebumps' all over my body.

2) Heavy perspiration but only around my neck.

3) Complete exhaustion - walking a short distance wears me out. I am

37 years old and used to be quite fit, running long distances.

4) Heat intolerance - the goosebumps get unbearable and I become

completly exhausted. Particularly bad when trying to exercise or in

direct sunlight.

5) Alcohol intolerance - makes my neck prickly and excessively

sweaty.

I also suffer from the following but I find these are easier to live

with than the ones listed above:

1) High pitched noise in my ears, noticeably worse when trying to

get off to sleep.

2) Rough/dry skin on hands and feet.

3) Calf cramps in both legs.

4) Weight gain.

5) Lapses in concentration (which resulted in my first car accident

in 20 years of driving) and poor short-term memory.

I have a history of chest infections, pleuracy, pneumonia,

bronchitis from a young age.

My GP has discounted thyroid problems based on blood test results.

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
