ear infection

Hi

Over the last few days I have developed an ear infection I think --the whole

left side of my neck from my ear down is swollen and painful, with tinnitis and

now gradual deafness in that ear -- I am loathe to go to doc as DH had this same

thing and was miserable for months as they gave him antibiotics twice which only

made it worse. When he finally saw a specialist he said to his students " this is

what happens when antibiotics are given " . He had develped a loathsome fungus

infection thanks to the antibiotics OR not being given a fungicide.

I seem to remember someone saying what you should put in your ears for infection

-- was it vinegar or salt or something else -- also what ratio to water--would

be most grateful
