Guest guest
Hey, has anyone heard of this? It looks like a good product and is one that Dr Peatfield recommends. It contains: 280 mg ultra-pure EPA (omega-3) from marine fish oil 100 mg organic virgin evening primrose oil (containing omega-6) 1 mg vitamin E (anti-oxidant) I have seen on the internet that ME sufferers should take 8 caps per day..which will make it about £34/$49 per month.. Does anyone know how much people like us should take? Thanks Jonny
Guest guest
Hi Jonny I took Vegepa for about 6 months before I found out that I have hypothyroidism. I took 8 capsules every day as detailed in Prof Basant Puri's book. To be honest, I didn't really notice any difference while on it or after I stopped taking it. However that's just my experience and it may well work for you. I thought about taking it again as fish oils are good for general health at a lower dose but opted for a different brand as the vegepa is really expensive. Not sure where you live but if you do want to take it then there is a way to get it for cheaper if you buy it through this site... http://www.thevegepaformescheme.com/about.php # UK Members (Mainland UK): * £8.50 per pot (RRP £11.95) * Free P & P when you order 6 or more pots of VegEPA # Channel Islands: * £10.17 per pot * P & P just a flat rate of £2 # Non-UK Members * You’ll pay far less than with distributors in your own country * P & P just £3 to the EU and just £5 to non-EU countries enkai
Guest guest
Ok thanks Enkai, yes they are expensive so Im not sure about getting them, although I heard they help with things like concentration and mood, both of which could be improved for me. Thanks jonny
Guest guest
I tried it for my ME/CFS, as directed in Basant Puri's book, but it didn't do anything for me. My brother, who also has ME/CFS found it helped reduce his acne (which he has had for about 35 years). Neither of us noticed it doing anything for concentration etc. Some people do find it helps them a lot - perhaps it depends on whether you are deficient in essential fatty acids in the first place, and whether you have problems with a persistent virus?
