Guest guest
After being on iodine for a month or so, my sister and I both experiencedsevere cramping of the ovaries, and had periods that left us on our backs, once.I found out later from this group that it was the iodine clearingthe bromide out of the ovaries, replacing them with iodine. After that one time, it never happened again.AliOn Jun 23, 2009, at 6:01 PM, EclairWantso wrote:Hello all,I posted several days ago to report significantimprovement in my fibrocystic breast since beginningiodoral one month ago. Guest guest
I never had that happen until I got to 100 mgs and then it came hard and furious. Guest guest
It is more than likely "normalizing" them. I had this off and on and then got a sono and my cysts were gone!! Guest guest
..why did you go up to 100 mg of iodine instead of staying at the 50 mg ...was there some reason that you continued to move up the dosage...just curious as i try to figure out how far to take myself and my family...thanks...Dawn Hello all, I posted several days ago to report significant improvement in my fibrocystic breast since beginning iodoral one month ago. Guest guest
Thanks Stephani & Ali for the feedback. Would itbe reasonable to expect this normalizing effectto also take place with breast cysts? I've beendoing really well, as I mentioned, but also have a new painful breast cyst, as I'm heading into midcycle. I'm planning to hold steady at 50mg of iodoral, and am supplementing with selenium, B complexwith C, magnesium. Have also been advised by mybreast surgeon to avoid phytoestrogens in soy, flax seed oil, etc as the cancer cells are estrogen receptive.I feel fortunate to have found this group and appreciatethe generosity with which members share, as everyonehas their own concerns. Best wishes,On Jun 23, 2009, at 10:22 PM, "ladybugsandbees" <ladybugsandbees@...> wrote: It is more than likely "normalizing" them. I had this off and on and then got a sono and my cysts were gone!! Guest guest
Yes I would say that is a fair assumption as well. I had 4 masses in my right breast that were painful off and on. They have for the most part resolved but I no longer get cycles so it is hard to tell what they react to now. If you have concerns or questions go to www.breastcancerchoices.org and Lynne or Sally will direct you to the AMAZON group they run for breast cancer and iodine. Just use the contact link on their website. They are great ladies with a lot of breast knowledge. Guest guest
If I had a cyst of ANY kind I'd consider Doug Kaufmann 's theory (well, not his own, borrowed from many researches of even decades ago...) of fungal origin and would tackle it that way, really not much to lose...Raquel>> Hello all,> I posted several days ago to report significant> improvement in my fibrocystic breast since beginning> iodoral one month ago.
