Guest guest
I just received a newsletter by a prominent person in the integrative cancer movement. He advocated caution when eating seaweed. He suggested getting the variety with very little iodine. Does anybody have a strategy for educating "Iodine Deniers? Lynne From: Jana <paintbrushcc@...>Subject: Can we talk about salt?iodine Date: Sunday, December 13, 2009, 6:07 PM Since salt is part of the iodine protocol, I hope it's ok to ask questions about it. Many of my family members have or had high blood pressure and I've been in the habit most of my adult to life to avoid salt. I've been borderline high myself for years. After learning of the iodine protocol I've been using salt liberally, and loving it since I ditched the morton's. I've been using Trader Joe's brand sea salt, which according to the label is traditionally harvested, unrefined and minimally processed. I've been under the impression that this kind of salt is compliant with the iodine protocol. Now I'm not so sure having recently learned that my blood pressure is higher than ever (156/98). I've been supplementing with iodine and using sea salt for almost a year now. Any ideas why my bp is going UP?Jana------------------------------------
