Guest guest
Ben, I was told that the actual liver will not show stones. I don't think they even ulstrasound the liver. The left side of my liver was so blocked at one stage that I couldn't even drink fresh juices. (Though if I was in that predicament again I have since learned, to strain the juice through a fine metal sieve before drinking). I was pretty desparate as anything I ate made me so sick and sore. I was just living on water for a couple of days. There is this guy who works at the local chemist who is a naturopath and who helps lots of people with their alternative health questions. I thought I'd give him a whirl with the gallstones question and his answer straight off the cuff was Horsetail Tea. I intuitively knew that he was right, so I bought some and it has helped me ever since. The naturopath guy at the chemist said that it worked because it is so high in the mineral silica which moves the mineral calcium along. I know my stones were sharp because I could feel them poking into me. Believe me, after that popping noise and feeling occurred my digestion is a whole lot better. I can now eat bowls of beans & vegies with cold pressed oil, eat wholegrain bread and rolls in moderation. I am nearly back to leading a normal eating life though a much more gallstone aware one now. I believe gallstones are caused by treated enzymeless foods especially oils and fats. I put 2 large dessertspoons of the dried Horsetail herb tea into a 2 cup china teapot. and then pour the boiling water in, stir and brew for a couple of minutes. You used to be able to buy it in bulk, though I think the Australian Government has banned it now citing it as being a 'noxious weed'. Anyway at the moment I am still able to get it packaged in the 'Blooms' brand and 'Hilda Hemmes' also has it. I have just bought 2 live plants for growing, just in case the rumour is true. I feel fresh and dried herbs are more powerful than tinctures anyway of which I don't take because I don't believe the alcohol is very good, especially for a sick person. Hope this all helps. le W. To McMullan, I would love to look at your 2 new attachments but didn't you just e-mail us all to say not to look at any of your attachments? I don't want to catch your virus. le W.
