Wakingup

Hello all, here is a post I recieved from another list that I personally feel is

misleading. Unfortunately I cannot debate this with these ladies, as it is

really not appropriate. Shame really. Especially as I know that a lot of this

money will go into vaccination programmes.

I watched " Today Tonight " tonight & they actually advised what % of

money raised from each Charity is sent directly to where it is needed.

Unicef - 100% in an international crisis - usually 97%

Red Cross - 97%

Care Australia - 94%

World Vision - 94%

Oxfam - would not comment

Now don't quote me on these figures, but I definitely remember Unicef

sending 100% for the Tsunami crisis

Just thought this might help.

Do

we have anybody on the forum who knows anything about how charities are run and

where we can find information about certain ones. If so, can you contact me

privately please.
