There are two reasons why detoxified iodine is not very popular. 1) It is

VERY weak form of iodine and for those of us with critical health issues we

need more than detoxified can deliver. 2) Most of us are targeting

saturation with iodine and detoxified will never get you saturated. You

cannot take enough of it to accomplish saturation and detoxing of halides.

Is the detoxified a milder form?

/MI

I think there is more info in the files section on Magnascent.

hire is the one who owns that site I believe and he is a member here

so you can search on his name and magnascent and you will find his

explanation of what it is.

The iodine docs use Lugol's because of it's 100 + year history of success.

Dr. Brownstein only uses Detoxified on patients who are very sensitive to

iodine. He also used it on my kids when they were little.

Hi /MI

I would say that it is much less active if that is the question. If it is still made as it was several years ago, maybe 16 oz of tincture of iodine is put into an electromagnitic field, produced by 10 amps for 5 minutes. This energizes the iodine molecule.

Iodine in the nascent state, requires a smaller quantity of tincture, in a larger container of solution at 30 amps for 15 to 20 minutes. It generates much more heat and requires cooling if many ounces are to be made ( and of course a longer times to produce).

The non-nascent iodine is much more like the tincture of iodine that has been around for 200 years. If that is what you mean by milder, I guess it is far less active in the body and will require many more drops to get certain results. Thanks, hirejohn@...www.magnascent.com--- On Mon, 9/1/08, piknchikn@... <piknchikn@...> wrote:

Hi & ,

My name is Phil and I am the person who produces the detoxified iodine.

I find it interesting that hire is always ready to answer questions

posed by people such as yourself, all the while undermining my work As this has

been going on for perhaps a year already I think it's time I present my

perspective so you, and others on this group have the opportunity to gain

further insight.

First of all the detoxification of iodine by myself and my prior partner (Steve

s) is an electirification process discussed in the Edgar Cayce readings.

At no time during this discussion did Mr. Cayce ever use the term nascent. This

is a word uses to impress people with his perspective. Further more, this

discussion about my charging process being deficient or somehow the wrong

process is also a fabrication which is fully aware of seeing as he buys his

iodine from Steve who used to make it for me too, the 30 amp process which of

course I continue to this day.

Now I could go on here refuting just about everything that comes out of 's

computer, but I have no interest in getting into the victim consciousness, but

I'd rather spend my time trying to do something positive with my time and not

worry about these ongoing attacks. Let's be honest, there are a lot of these

kinds of things going on all the time with groups of this nature, so buyer

beware. In the meantime if you would like to know more about the cayce

perspective I hold you can visit my website (www.IodineSource.com) and I will be

happy to speak with individuals there. By the way, this is my wife's email

address as I

m not actually a menber of the group.

Best Wishes,

Phil

I think our issue with needing supporting nutrients has to do with the toxins in our environment that have damaged our bodies, low nutrient dense foods, and toxic bodies over all. I think the Japanese have a cleaner lifestyle than we have.

I don' t have the answer for you. I am at no one's mercy. I do what I want to do. I use Dr. Brownstien to help me as I study for my Doctorate in Naturopathy. I control a lot of my own protocol now, ask for certain labs based on what I am feeling and seeing in my own health and then we work together to solve the issues.

Not sure if that answered the question. All I know is I was dying and now I am not. I take a lot of supplements but that's OK if I get to live and be a mom to my kids.

Thank you for your thoughtful reply.

You are blessed to be at the mercy of no one, and I am very glad for you. I surely want no child to be without a parent whether it be physical from death or spiritual, emotional and physical from illness.

I will continue the best I can given I am at the mercy of certain circumstances. I don't feel better than I did 2 months ago, but it sounds as though a great many people still are feeling badly for longer periods than they are good. Do you see this as a result of detoxing and will that detox be a lifetime? Can we realistically hope to have more good days than bad over a long-period average?

I was on a support group where people asked why they never saw the people feeling good. I started to watch this and realized that when people started to feel better they began to spend less time on the group and doing things they really love because they no longer needed the group. The people who remain are the ones who are really ill or have had damage to their body that makes it difficult for them to heal (like chemo or radiation). I think that is what you are seeing. There are many that used to be here 2 years ago that aren't active anymore.

I agree wholeheartedly with this! If you feel good you go live life!

It's not going to saturate your body. It is VERY weak form of iodine and if you have a big illness it won't help. I started my children on it when they were 3 & 5 but now they are 7 & almost 10 and are on Iodoral.

You probably won't find a link to gluten intolerance and iodine. As far as I know they are not related. Apples and Oranges.

detoxified iodine

Does anyone take this? I haven't seen any posts about this, I'm brand new. Was wondering after you start the 4th week and increase drops each day, do you still take 2 days off like you did the first 3 weeks?

I got my detoxified iodine from globalLight.net

Also, I found this "I now believe that I am not so much gluten-intolerant as I simply didn't have enough iodine in my system for me to handle the tough grains (wheat, rye, barley, and oats are what I've had to avoid)." from this:

http://www.iodinesource.com/TestimonialView.asp?catID=184

but haven't been able to find more information about iodine deficiency related to gluten intolerance. This is extremely important to me as I have Crohn's disease and have only gotten relief from the Specific Carbohydrate Diet (no complex carbs, i.e., grains). I only looked into iodine for my sister since she had a goiter at age 13 (now 30).

Thanks for any help!

thank you, stephanie!

I'm not so sure about the apples and oranges. I would have never guessed a link, but Ive always wondered why my crohns would be worse around a period? some kind of hormone connection? the thyroid does so many things. our bodies are so complex, and, after all, 'the hip bone's connected to the - leg bone...the leg bone's connected to the - knee bone' or something like that! :)

So I guess I don't have to worry about taking in too much of the detoxified iodine? I just got a shipment today of extra bottles, so I want to use them up.
