Guest guest
Hi everyone, Thanks for the welcomes. I have a couple of questions. The first one is; How did you guys start off? I know everyone is different. Just wondering which works best. The cold turkey method (stopping all " avoid foods " and adding " highly beneficial " foods at one time) or the one at a time elemination method (stopping one " avoid food " at a time replacing it with a " highly beneficial " food)? Next, I have always had to watch how much wheat I eat due to allergic reactions. (although i've always cheated some) I have relied on corn procucts to take the place of wheat. For example, I would eat corn chips, corn tortillas, corn tortilla chips. I didn't realize how often I ate these things until I started trying not to. I don't get the allergic reaction when eating corn products, but I've been dibetic for about 1 1/2 years. And I've noticed that I get the shakes and a headache a couple of hours after eating this stuff. So, my question is, Have any of you guys found something to kinda take the place of those foods? Like a certain kind of chips or wraps? Or do you just do without? Joan
