I have a message that has come through our website from a lady asking me if I can give her any information/give her links etc about the pososible connection between alcohol and hypothyroidism.I thought this question might be one for the more scientific of us as I have heard that some hypothyroids cannot tolerate even the smallest glass of alcohol, yet others have no problem at all. Is there really a connection between the two, or is it that the people who can/can't tolerate alcohol would be the same if they were NOT hypothyroid etc.
