Guest guest
Hi, I'm going to do my second iodine loading test on Sunday. I've been taking 50 mg of iodural for three months now. I am confused about when I should stop taking the iodural before the test. The Doctors Data instructions say 48 hours and the receptionist in the doctor's office said just stop it on the day of the test. Which is right? Also, I found out I wasn't taking the right complementary supplements. My doctor had told me to take Bone Power and when I googled it, I thought it was the Nature's Plus version. In fact, I didn't know there was another supplement with the exact name made by Ortho Molecular Products. Completely different ingredients. So, my second question is whether not taking the right complementary supplements will skew my test results, and if so, in what way? Thanks for any light you can shed on this for me! -- Michele
Guest guest
You stop 48 hours prior to doing the test. Taking the wrong supplements with it will not effect the test. It will only affect your body's ability to absorb what you have taken in previous months. Steph when to stop iodine before loading test Hi, I'm going to do my second iodine loading test on Sunday.
