One suggestion I will make is that I would not use Lugol's for mouth rinsing as it may stain. I believe nascent iodine (though not as potent, I think?) is clear so ideal for rinsing the teeth and gums with. A great idea. Also the Sonicare toothbrush is really good for gums. It makes mouth bacteria break-up and fall off if that is what is causing your gum disease. -Marlena > > Hi.,guys.,what is nascent iodine as oposed to lugols? Also povidone iodine?
